मृत्यु का अस्तित्व
महान दार्शनिक लाओत्से कहते हैं कि जीवन से ही निकलकर मृत्यु आती है 'आउट ऑफ लाइफ डेथ ऐंटर्स।' इसलिए ऐसा नहीं सोचना चाहिए कि मृत्यु कहीं अन्यत्र कड़ी है। ऐसा भी नहीं सोचना चाहिए कि मृत्यु कोई दुर्घटना है। ऐसा भी सोचना उचित नहीं है कि मृत्यु कहीं बाहर से आती है, कोई मृत्यु को भेजता है। सचाई यह है कि मृत्यु का अस्तित्व हमारे भीतर ही है, हमारे भीतर ही वह अपना आकर ले रही है, हमारे साथ ही वह चल रही है, बड़ी हो रही है, बढ़ रही है।
